BikeTank #8 Tomorrow!! Sydney’s favourite bike-flavoured design think-tank is on again.

Tomorrow’s theme: Peace and Space: How can zones of conflict be creatively revealed so that bikes are in synergy with the city?

We are delighted to announce that Peace advocate Camilla Schippa, Director of the Institute of Economics and Peace, will be speaking for Steve Killelea, who has been held up overseas.

Camilla manages the development of the Global Peace Index, a tool for measuring the peacefulness of countries and identifying the drivers of peace, holds the Peace and Security portfolio of The Charitable Foundation, and is Regional Adviser to the United Nations Office for Partnerships. She provides advice and support to the United Nations in efforts to build new partnerships with civil society, foundations and the private sector in South East Asia.

We are looking forward to bringing Camilla’s global perspective into our visions for Sydney at a tangible scale. Anyone with an interest in bikes, design and built environment is welcome! BikeTank includes free barista coffee, pastries and a special guest speaker.
